You’ll need to make sure your business has goals first. What are the top three things that you want to achieve? Firstly, make sure you put a time frame on it. For example, what do you want to have achieved by this time next year? This will help you to create realistic goals that will be achievable for you and your team.
What are your values as a business? It’s important to incorporate these into your strategic direction. These are the personal values that come from you and the people within your business. They carry through in everything you do – both internally and with your customers, suppliers and partners. Including these values within your marketing strategy and the content you put out is a great way to grow your business.

Look at the current activities that are ongoing within your business. Are you networking? Are you active on social media? If the answer to both of these questions is ‘yes’, great!
