Cloud Nexus were 3 years into their business and had tested several marketing activities with no results. They needed someone that understood their industry to provide clear strategic direction, backed up with consistent marketing action and ongoing refinements. They were ready to take the business to the next level and smash their goals.

They also had a marketing apprentice that was keen for structure, tools, and guidance to help the business grow with the right marketing foundations in place.


Boo! took the time to get to know the people in the business, whilst understanding the business itself. This enabled them to review marketing activities, the story of the business, and gain industry insights to identify target industries and opportunities.

A simple marketing strategy was developed with a clear business vision, annual goals, values, unique selling points, customer challenges, solutions, and key messages for Cloud Nexus. This was then backed up with a 3-month plan of marketing action covering a full range of resourceful on and offline marketing activities that could be measured every month. This included whitepapers, blogs, PR, search engine optimisation (SEO), email newsletter, customer reviews, social media, and case studies.

Working directly with marketing apprentice Kayleigh, Boo! mentored and supported her throughout the duration of the 3-month action plan and analysed the results each month. A cycle of action, review and refinement for SMART and efficient marketing activities is now firmly established.

Experienced support for the marketing apprentice provided reassurance and personal development to support the completion of her apprenticeship, manage the overall marketing of the business and secure a permanent role with further progression. Kayleigh is now equipped to continue the development of the marketing strategy and plan monthly marketing activities with complete confidence.
