Anna here. What a fantastic start to 2024. I thought they’d got the wrong name, they haven’t though, it’s definitely me, a Top 15 Manchester Coach – wooohooo.
Super proud to celebrate and be recognised alongside fourteen other fantastic coaches, including the amazing Becky Field – what a woman! As I reflect, I feel a profound sense of gratitude to be included alongside these magnificent coaches. The acknowledgment of my efforts, especially considering the incredible talent within the Manchester coaching community, is truly humbling.
All I know is that I love what I do, helping others and learning.
I fell into coaching and didn’t plan to do any qualifications. I went with the flow of business doing what naturally felt right, building on what I enjoy, following my heart. This wasn’t always the case though.
As a firm part of the traditional rat race, I spent 23 years employed in corporate, working my way up. This included several redundancies (marketing teams are quite often the first to be streamlined), lots of part time study, marriage and children all happened during this time.
I worked in some brilliant industries; technology, legal, media, marketing, manufacturing, healthcare, banking, print and local government. Just before my last redundancy I suddenly lost lost my niece. Fit for nothing, physically and mentally I could no longer face being employed so I went full time with my sneaky side line business – Boo! Marketing. From here on in I transformed, both personally and professionally, in ways I didn’t even know were possible, and it continues to date.
I always knew I would have my own business. It’s true, you get what you ask for.
Recognition as one of Manchester’s Top Coaches is a personal triumph. I’ve worked so hard as an employee, student and business owner. There are very few people with the focus and determination that I have – honestly! Why wouldn’t I share this super power to help others.
The power of resilience, personal development, and the transformative impact of coaching has been well and truly realised. By working on myself I’ve experienced the benefits, and in turn, am now equipped to help others. It’s a fabulous gift to be able to share. Everything I have learnt I apply to myself, my own small business and share with other small businesses and marketers. It’s all about helping them develop and grow for long term impact, and that ultimate goal of happiness.

I’m a million miles away from what many would class as your typical marketer and Boo! Marketing will never be an agency. I gained my first coaching qualification in 2021, just a few years ago. This recognition shows that what I share with others, when it comes to focused and consistent marketing, works. Now, I’ve just got to say a little more about the fabulous Becky Field of Westfield Coaching, one of Manchester’s standout coaches. A position alongside this lady is unreal. The Westfield Weekender
I attended Becky’s Westfield Weekender (not a retreat by the way) in October 2023 and wow! I’ve never experienced anything like it, to the point where you didn’t know what to expect next, it was so much fun. I learned lots and it was honesty one of the best development weekends I’ve attended.
Becky and her team were out of this world. You felt instantly at ease, and it was a privilege to be there. I laughed until I cried, swore a good few times, and was faced with some honest truths. I left that weekend powered up, glowing, and set for action, both personally and professionally. Becky is completely different to other coaches and makes the world a brighter place. I can’t wait for the next weekender in July this year – guaranteed to be out of this world.
Personally I believe you should and can always invest in yourself! Every single year.
